Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat Electric Marine

It’s the same Platinum Smart-Heat Electric in its Marine version: a 316 stainless steel body, the grade used on boats, so salt air won’t damage it. If your terrace is near the sea, this is the one we recommend.

Which power to choose

As a guide, with the heater mounted at 2.2–2.4 m:

• 2,300 W: about 6 m².
• 3,400 W: about 10 m².
• 4,500 W: about 12 m².

What matters most is height and wind. A glazed-in terrace needs about 250 W per m²; one open only at the front, about 350; a corner open on two sides, about 450; and a very exposed one, or with the heater above 2.5 m, between 650 and 700. For bars and restaurants, only count the area where customers sit.

What’s included

• The heater with its wall or ceiling bracket, with tilt adjustment. The cable runs inside the bracket.

What’s not included

• Control system. The heater doesn’t come with a control system. You can add one of our Bromic Affinity controllers (ON/OFF or dimmer, from your phone), or your installer can connect it to your home automation or to a wall switch.
• Recessed ceiling kit (optional accessory).
• Installation: done by your electrician. We’ll help you decide where and at what height to fit it.
